I am a quantitative social scientist studying socio-economic inequalities across the life course, with a focus on family dynamics, poverty and gender inequality. My work draws on large-scale survey and admin register data.

I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Sociology, University of Vienna. Previously, I held positions at the University of Bamberg, the Vienna University of Economics and Business, and Statistics Austria as well as visiting fellowships at the INVEST Flagship Research Centre (University of Turku) and the German Socio-Economic Panel (DIW Berlin).

I completed my PhD titled Poverty risk within couples across the family life course at the University of Vienna in 2025 with distinction. My work has been recognized with the Theodor Körner Prize (2024), the Kurt Rothschild Prize (2025), the AK Wissenschaftspreis (2025) and the Best Dissertation Award from the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Vienna (2025).
